Carry the Glass Together How to Protect the Glass
Keep the pane intact through stretch, hammers, and the jokes you make on planks.
Every run of Carry the Glass Together ends the first time you forget the pane is the player. You can have perfect parkour and still lose because a wrist clipped a cone. This guide is the defensive manual. Offensive routing lives in how to beat. Binds live in controls. Rankings live on the obstacle tier list.
Protecting the glass is a 2-player skill. If only one of you is careful, the pane still shatters. Assign a leader who is allowed to say Wait without a debate.
The shatter list (in real order)
- Stretch. Avatars in this genre love long arms. If you walk apart to “see better”, the pane becomes a tripwire. Stay close enough that both of you could high-five without moving.
- Opposite cameras. One player looks at the tower, the other looks at the river. The pane yaws. Face the same heading on every jump.
- Hammers. Swinging mallets are built to hit glass. You wait. You do not sneak under a descending head “because we almost had it”.
- World props. Striped cylinders, hard hats, cones, hanging pipes on the overpass. The obstacles page ranks these. Shoulder-checking a hat is a fail.
- Desync jumps. One Space press, one late Space press, one player in the water. The pane cannot be in two elevations.
- Menus and emotes. Opening codes or dancing on a plank walks you into a beam.
- Rescue sprints. Your partner slips; you run. The yank snaps the pane. Step toward them instead.
If you only fix stretch and opposite cameras, your shatter count drops immediately. The rest is course-specific.
Stance
Think of the pane as a table you are moving through a doorway. Short steps. Knees (or the Roblox equivalent) ready to stop. The leader’s shoulder is the front of the table. The follower does not pass the leader on a beam. On wide grass you can spread a little for camera; on wood you collapse back to a short stance.
Tilt only on purpose. Random tilt happens when one player jumps to look around. If you need a better view, stop, tilt, look, recover, then move. The callout sheet has Tilt and Hold for this.
Hammers, specifically
Stand on the last safe slab. Watch one complete swing. Start walking when the mallet is away from your line, not when it is closest and “about to leave”. Closest is how YouTube fails start. If the pane is taller than the gap, lower it or rotate it before you enter. After you pass, do not turn to watch the hammer “for content”. Turning is a clip.
If a hammer tags the glass and you somehow live, stop anyway. The next swing is closer than your confidence.
Water and height
Water is not always an instant shatter, but a submerged player yanks the pane. Treat any foot in the river as an emergency Hold. Height is worse: a fall from the crane approach is a full physics snap. Bank checkpoints before vertical sections even if you “still have it”.
After a shatter
Breathe. Name the cause in one word: stretch, hammer, jump, prop, menu. If you cannot name it, you will repeat it. Swap who leads if the same person keeps walking early. Then walk from the checkpoint without sprinting the first five seconds. Revenge speedruns are how segment 3 stays unbeaten.
Do not buy a “unbreakable glass” script. If a tool can make the pane immortal, it can also eat your account. Play the game that was listed.
Device-specific defense
Phone players should disable extra gestures that rotate the camera when a palm hits the glass. Console players should drop look sensitivity so a hammer flinch does not yaw 45 degrees. PC players should not alt-tab to this wiki while holding the pane — bookmark how to beat and read it at a checkpoint.
Practice drill (five minutes)
On the opening grass, walk figure-eights without stretching. Then do three counted jumps on the first plank. Then stop. That drill is more useful than an hour of hammer attempts with no stance. When it feels boring, you are ready for segment 3 of the walkthrough.
Protecting the glass is the whole fantasy of this Roblox obby. The tower is just the excuse to see whether your duo can do it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for duos who keep shattering the pane.
Why does the glass break when we barely touch a hat?
Props have hitboxes bigger than they look. Rank them on the obstacle tier list and give them space.
Is stretch always a shatter?
Far enough, yes. Stay close. The funny long-arm clip is the tutorial for what not to do.
Should we keep the pane vertical or flat?
Default to a chest-height carry. Tilt only for a named gap. See stance above and controls.
My partner will not wait for hammers.
Switch the leader role or take a break. Waiting is the skill.
